Hi there!
Previous week our team took part in the conference DevGAMM-2017 in Moscow by invitation of Epic Games. We broke through crowds of bears with vodka, oil oligarchs and glamorous ladies, and presented our project VRobot (btw, you can get it on Steam in Early access).
VRobot, if you still do not know, is the last hope of humankind. In our game robots and driverless cars flooded the entire planet. Humans built a Giant Robot to help them to clean and reclaim their cities. So, you can operate this robot and smash everything for the Greater Good!
We decided to train people how to operate the Giant Robot just in case it really becomes relevant. There was a First VRobot Championship, where people competed with each other who is the best in crushing buildings by huge robot in three different way: Punch, Tornado or Tractor beam.
So, let us praise our winners!
Punch: Alexey Anisimov
Tornado Maker: Stanislav Dudko
Tractor Beam: Pavel Gorbach
Winners got free Steam keys of VRobot and the invintation to the office of Luden.io for the tour. Other players had a lot of fun and shared a positive feedback with us (thanks for that, that was a pleasure!). Also, Oleg Chumakov lectured people about machine learning, and there were a lot of questions about the future of game industry and AI.
So, we want to thank the organizers of the conference, it was cool! And some more photos from conference.
