Release: October-November for Daydream/Cardboard
What it is all about
InMind 2 is an adventure game for Daydream and Cardboard which places emphasis on the chemistry hidden behind the human emotions, greatly inspired by the Pixar/Disney “Inside Out” animation and Lövheim’s emotions theory. On the gameplay side we take the best from our experience launching InMind and InCell games to create an interesting and eye-catching VR experience.
It is well known by scientists that emotions are none other than hormones affecting human body and especially brain. You will take part in a process of one teenager named John becoming an adult and help to shape John’s own self while experiencing an exciting journey inside the human brain. During the set period of time John faces several key moments of his life. His reaction to these moments may lead to forming new interests and relations. You must help John on his way towards his destiny… or make him fail miserably.
Community voice acting
We are extremely inspired by our InMind and InCell community and also the feedback about “auto-generated” voice in InCell VR was not always positive. We decided to take up an unexpected approach and vocalize the game together with our players.
So the idea is simple — we are looking for talented players who can take up the task of vocalizing two our characters — the teenager John and the Narrator, who explains the biological processes behind human emotions and also wraps up John story as a whole. And of course we are ready to award your efforts with cash if your voice acting will be chosen for the game.
We will be happy to receive the examples of your voice acting on oleg.chumakov@nivalvr.com.
Android beta test
We would also like to invite you for our pre-release version of InMind 2 in Google play, beta test will start closer to September.
